You might have noticed a lack of posts from our website, and we’d just like to assure you that we are still alive!
In fact doing quite well.

Over at the Ok Zebra offices we have been taking a closer look at our processes and have decided to restructure our releases and layout. This will give us time to focus as independent artists and designers which will benefit our development. What does this mean for the OZ collective? Stronger and better designs. We will continue to bring you our highest level of design which may manifest in different avenues, not solely restricted to apparel. New design releases will be shared sporadically and could be spaced out as little as 6 months to as much as 2 years apart. We will continue to feature available OZ swag online plus more in the near future!

We’re extremely excited for the progress of the Ok Zebra movement and our future personal projects. We look forward to seeing the collective evolve with our new artistry and your continued friendship.

Thank you to all that have supported us thus far – whether it was a high five, a sticker on your internet surfer, or a recent purchase of the latest hoodie. It’s all love and we’ll be sure to take it with us in these coming ventures!

Subtle native patterns and pieces such as the dream catcher and carved stones receive the Ok Zebra treatment to bring hints of urban culture. Each design features it’s own signature hand-drawn illustration to create a natural texture reminiscent of First Nations drawings.

This line was a lot of fun to create and we hope you’ll enjoy just as much as us .

In the end, three teams were left. Team K-Bay played valiantly but got cut short in the semi-finals taking third place. It was down to the final two, Jeff+Alex vs. Jesse+Anthony. By this time, the remaining teams had consumed a considerable amount of sunken shots. Both teams were glowing with confidence but it came down to the focus and precision of Anthony’s finishing shot! They climbed the ladder, got the swag, the glory and now hold the winners’ title. Until next year…

We created Limited Edition Osheaga Tanks with the custom Ok Zebra – Bear Mace font for the upcoming festivities. It’s always a blast when custom type is involved and this one was no different.

If you make it out to the festival this year be sure to come say Hi! Adventurers, pack your bags!

We took off on foot to Vancouver’s English Bay with our in-house photographer Megan, with hopes of finding a group that mirrored Ok Zebra’s values. We were warmly welcomed by everyone that we approached to be part of this season’s tanks. Big shout out to all our new friends! Thank you.

A year ago I came across a small logo that I felt very passionate about but couldn’t quite stick how to showcase it in a different light. I ended up throwing in my library of pictures. Almost a year later, I decided to revisit the vault to find this inspirational quote sitting exactly where it was left. For some reason, a light bulb went off and the layouts and logos started pouring out.

What you see below is the finalized version of the design released just in time for WMC FEST*. It’s available for Pre-Order right now! Go claim your size in advance!

* Weapons of Mass Creation is a designers’ haven founded by Jeff Finley (Design Guru). The original logo was created for the festival by Brandon Rike and continues to hold true. I recommend visiting the website or taking the trip to WMC if you get ever get a chance!

Phonosaurus Records are based in Montreal with roots spreading as far as Switzerland and France! Make sure to check their site out as they frequently update with artists’ updates and videos such as this first DAC live show. Enjoy the catchy beats synced with beautifully twisted visuals.

The 3rd and final design for the Ok Zebra 8-bit series is now out! These were a blast to relive and design. Be sure to head over to the Extras section and download each wallpaper to match your on-the-go mood.

The Playoffs are here and we’re more than excited to welcome them back with open arms. There’s a hard long road ahead filled with cold pitchers, sauced hot wings and high fives all around. This truly is the one of the hardest times of the year . Enjoy the games and best of luck to your playoff team!
